Upcoming New MAZDA Cars

Developers at Mazda headquarters have released some information regarding new Mazda cars that are currently pending release. Here is a look at some of the upcoming vehicles that will be available at our dealership in the near future.

Mazda CX-70

The Mazda CX-70 is an upcoming addition to the brand’s CX series. Much of the details about this vehicle are still under wraps. The vehicle is expected to resemble the Mazda CX-60, which is currently available in the European market.

The Mazda CX-70 will be a middle option between the Mazda CX-50 and Mazda CX-9. One detail that has been confirmed is that the model will come with a rear-wheel-drive as standard, with the option to upgrade to an all-wheel-drive configuration. While not confirmed, it’s expected that a plug-in hybrid version will also be available.

Mazda CX-90

The Mazda CX-90 is to the Mazda CX-9 what the Mazda CX-30 and Mazda CX-50 are to the Mazda CX-3 and Mazda CX-5 respectively. This family SUV will have three rows of seating and can seat up to seven passengers.

All-wheel-drive comes standard. Like the Mazda CX-70, a plug-in hybrid is also expected but not confirmed.

Buyers will have several engine options. The exact engine types haven’t been confirmed but they are all inline six-cylinder variants. This will provide more horsepower than the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s currently in use for the Mazda CX-9.
