What Is MAZDA SKYACTIV® Technology?

Basically, SKYACTIV® technology is an innovative way for Mazda vehicles to improve their efficiency, power, and responsiveness. There are multiple types of SKYACTIV® engines:

• SKYACTIV®-G gas engine
• SKYACTIV®-D diesel engine
• SKYACTIV®-X, which uses compression ignition
• e-SKYACTIV, a hybrid option

While some of these can be turbocharged, the SKYACTIV-X® always runs at full power.

• If a crossover SUV is more your style, you’ll love the 2024 Mazda CX-30 and its SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter Turbo powertrain.
• Want a large, eight-seater SUV? Start with the 2024 Mazda CX-90 and feel every one of the 340 horses that the e-SKYACTIV® 3.3-liter Turbo Inline-6 engine provides.
• The upcoming 2025 Mazda CX-70 will offer an e-SKYACTIV®-G 3.3-liter inline-6 Turbo engine as a mild hybrid powertrain.
