2023 MAZDA CX-50 vs. 2024 Model: What’s New?

2024 Model Year Differences

All trims of the 2024 Mazda CX-50 have a new type of dampers and a recalibrated electric power-assist system. Both enable this vehicle to have a smoother, more agile riding experience than the 2023 version, both on paved streets and off-road.

This compact crossover SUV has eight trims, unlike the 10 sold for the 2023 model. In addition to cutting the base 2.5 S trim, the 2.5 S Preferred Plus from 2023 had its name changed to the 2.5 S Premium instead.

2023 MAZDA CX-50 Feature Availability

In the 2024 Mazda CX-50, the 12-speaker Bose® audio system and wireless smartphone charging pad are standard on the Premium trim and up, whereas in 2023, the speakers were standard in the Premium Plus and up, and wireless charging was only in the Turbo Premium Plus. However, you can order the wireless charging pad as a standalone add-on on the 2.5 Select trim.

The 2024 Mazda CX-50’s Premium trim includes other features absent from the 2023 version, like a power-sliding panoramic sunroof and three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM® radio.
