Deceptive Trade Practice. Low-balled trade-in, saying they couldn't sell it, that it would go to auction (exact name of entity escapes me). Less than two weeks later, it is listed for sale on their website, 10K more than they gave me. Ouch. Deceptive online pricing, stalling tactics, and terrible transparency. I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of ethics and transparency at El Dorado Mazda. We were actively trying to purchase a Certified Pre-Owned 2023 Mazda CX-5 (Premium Plus, AWD) for my 16-year-old daughter.
When we expressed explicit interest in the vehicle, the sales team attempted to tack on a mandatory, non-negotiable $2,000 "CPO fee" on top of the advertised internet price. To make matters worse, we discovered the exact same vehicle (same VIN) cross-listed at their sister store, El Dorado Chevrolet, for $1,000 less and without the bogus markup.

Highly recommend Service Advisor Eric Lange. My 2022 Silverado had transmission problems. Spoke to three other dealers who couldn’t even figure out if it was still under warranty, which it was. Eric got it fixed up and two days faster than anticipated. I’ll make the further driver for someone who knows how to do their job well.

She was friendly, quick, and straight to the point. Awesome experience! My salesperson, Corbin Farrell, was the best and made the experience very easy, and valued my time as well. We did most of the negotiation over the phone, and then it took about 40 minutes, if not less, to get the vehicle and drive off. Had a difficult issue with a 2011 truck my son really liked. Everyone was very helpful in getting it back on the road, especially Tim in service. He was professional and dependable - we were in the midst of a move and had to have the truck by a certain date (no later) and Tim shepherded the repair through. Can’t say enough good things. He even called after we had left town to make sure everything was OK with the vehicle. Very pleased with our experience!

2024 Tahoe dash lit up like a Christmas tree on morning. Called and spoke to Tim in the service dept. He suggested that is probably going to be a low battery, but just to make sure bring it in so they could do a load test and look at the codes that were tripped.
